Nationally Recognized Bakery Cafe Opens Doors to
Neighbors in Five Cities during Two-Month Span
DALLAS, TEXAS – April 29, 2009 – Feeding the day in five new locations across the country, Corner Bakery Cafe is opening doors for both guests and job seekers with two new company-owned restaurants in Los Angeles, Calif. and Las Colinas, Tex. and three new franchise-owned cafes in Peoria, Ariz., El Paso, Tex. and Flowood, Miss.

From a small bread bakery on a corner in downtown Chicago to a national cornerstone of fast-casual dining, Corner Bakery Cafe opened its first location in 1991 and now operates more than 115 company-owned and franchised locations across the country, including these five new cafe openings, which together have created a total of over 250 new jobs.
Opening today, the Beverly Connection Corner Bakery Cafe is located at 100 N. La Cienega, Suite 120, Los Angeles, Calif., 90048, in the Beverly Connection shopping center. The 19th Dallas-area location, the Las Colinas Corner Bakery Cafe opened March 16 at 118 E. John Carpenter Freeway, Suite 100, Las Colinas, Texas, 75039.
Helping fuel the brand’s nationwide growth, three new franchise partners just opened the doors of their first cafes, bringing Corner Bakery’s relaxing dining experience, great value and unsurpassed catering to new neighborhoods. On March 2, WKS Bakery Cafe Inc. opened a Peoria location, the first of 15 planned Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants in the greater Phoenix area, at 16222 North 83rd Ave, Peoria, AZ, 85382. Franchise partner Bakery Ventures Ltd. opened the doors of its El Paso location on April 6 at 1350 George Dieter A, El Paso, TX 79936, the first of six Corner Bakery Cafes they plan to open. Lastly, Resolute Bakeries, LLC introduced Corner Bakery Cafe to Mississippi with their first opening on April 20 at 108 Market Street, Flowood, MS., 39232, with plans to develop at least four additional locations in Mississippi.
