Corner Bakery Cafe Announces Executive Team Promotions

Dallas, Texas – March 23, 2010Corner Bakery Cafe announced today that it has promoted three new members to its executive team. John LaBarge has been promoted to vice president of franchise business, representing Corner Bakery’s continued commitment to developing strong franchise partnerships, Belinda Hebbler has been promoted to vice president, corporate controller, and Ryan Nowlin has been promoted to vice president of information technology and business process.

 

“We’re excited to strengthen our core leadership team through these three promotions,” said Jim Vinz, Corner Bakery Cafe President and Chief Operating Officer. “Their many years of industry experience and tremendous knowledge are invaluable as we continue to expand our brand into new markets and through strong franchise partnerships.”

 

John LaBarge

Boasting over 20 years of industry experience and 10 years of operational success with Corner Bakery Cafe, LaBarge will now work in partnership with the vice president of franchise development, Bob Hartmann, serving as a liaison between franchisees and Corner Bakery’s internal team. He will guide new franchise partners during the training process on through to their cafe openings, while serving as an ongoing contact for day-to-day assistance. A graduate of Eastern Illinois University, LaBarge has also served as an area director for Corner Bakery Cafe in Chicago and worked previously with Brinker International in multi-unit operations.

 

Belinda Hebbler

Previously Corner Bakery Cafe’s senior director of finance and controller, Hebbler oversees the company’s general accounting and audit functions. She formerly served as an independent consultant for other major brands within the foodservice industry. A certified public accountant and graduate of Texas Tech University, Hebbler also spent time as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche. 

 

Ryan Nowlin

Nowlin began working with Corner Bakery Cafe in 2005 and has most recently served as the senior director of information technology and business process for the company. In his new role, Nowlin is tasked with aligning technology strategy and process. Previously he worked with the international accounting and consulting firm, BDO Seidman, LLP. Nowlin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in information technology and obtained his master’s in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
