Under Gary’s leadership, Corner Bakery Cafe will continue its fast-paced growth track, with plans to double its footprint in the U.S. over the next four years through a combination of franchised and company-owned cafes.

    At Corner Bakery Cafe, Diana is committed to getting into the hearts and minds of the consumer. Diana joined the leadership team at Corner Bakery Cafe in 2006, taking an active role in shaping brand strategy for what she describes as the “ultimate neighborhood gathering spot.” Diana is passionate about the importance of truly connecting with guests and giving back to the community. And it’s evident by Diana’s intuitive connection with customers that translating consumer needs has been the focus of her career from the beginning.

    Chief Legal Officer

    Blake Bernet joined the Corner Bakery Cafe team in 1996 as corporate counsel, moving into the restaurant business from a transactional law practice with a large Dallas firm. In 1998, Blake shifted his focus from law to development, taking over leadership of Corner Bakery Cafe’s development team.

Look for Denise Clemens, senior vice president of human resources at Corner Bakery Cafe, and you’ll often find her onsite chatting with one of the company’s more than 3,500 team members.

    Ric Scicchitano

    Senior Vice President, Food & Beverage

    Ric Scicchitano holds the inimitable designation of being the first-ever Corner Bakery employee. Scicchitano graduated from New York’s Culinary Institute of America (CIA) where he obtained a dual degree in culinary in 1989 and baking in 1991. Upon graduation, he immediately went to work for restaurateur Richard Melman’s newest concepts: Maggiano’s Little Italy and Corner Bakery, where he helped create an updated menu.

    Paul joined Corner Bakery Cafe in 1998 serving in various field operations roles in Dallas-Fort Worth and Southern California prior to becoming Director of Catering Operations in 2006. He was named Vice President of Operations Services in 2008 and has served as Vice President of Training & Operations Services since 2010.

    Gregg Koffler joined Corner Bakery Cafe in May of 2012 as Director of Franchise Sales, fostering the brand’s multi-unit national expansion and commitment to partnering with respected franchise leaders and operators in the restaurant industry. Gregg was promoted to Vice President in the summer of 2013 to spearhead overall sales and growth of the franchise division.

    Jeff joined Corner Bakery Cafe in January of 2013 as Vice President of Information Technology, and is charged with defining and executing the strategic vision for the ways in which technology will drive profitability and be a true differentiator for the brand. In the role, Jeff oversees all aspects of technology while ensuring that all directives are scalable, sustainable, supportable, and foster the company’s targeted growth in the franchise space.
